Who We Are

HUSH Beauty & Skin was founded by Jessica Callahan, a beauty and skin professional with more than 30 years of industry experience.

Jessica graduated in 1996 with an Associate Diploma of Health Science and has continued to advance her training throughout her career, completing more than 20 advanced beauty, skin and clinical treatment courses. What began as HUSH Cosmetics has grown into HUSH Beauty & Skin — a trusted beauty and skin destination in Emerald.

In 2011, we opened our first HUSH store, offering a carefully selected range of Australian-made cosmetics and skincare. Today, we continue to offer professional treatments, skincare advice and products chosen for their quality, performance and value.

You are always welcome to visit us in salon or shop online. We offer skincare advice and consultations in store, although during busy times we may ask you to book a dedicated consultation so we can give you the time and attention you deserve.

Our Team

Jessica Callahan

Jessica is the founder and owner of HUSH Beauty & Skin. With more than 30 years of experience, she specialises in advanced skin treatments, anti-ageing, skin rejuvenation, skin needling, facial treatments and personalised skin advice.

Jessica now works mainly from HUSH Clinical in South Yarra, where she focuses on advanced skin and clinical rejuvenation treatments. She is still available for selected skin treatments and consultations.

Hannah

Hannah has been trained extensively by Jess and is a caring, experienced beauty therapist who has been part of the HUSH team for many years.

She loves helping clients with brows, lash lifts, facials, peels and advanced skin treatments. Hannah is known for her gentle nature, attention to detail and calm approach to beauty and skin.

Kristy

Kristy brings a unique blend of nursing experience and beauty training to the HUSH team. After 15 years working in hospital care, she followed her passion for beauty and skin, completing her beauty diploma and further training in advanced treatments.

Kristy enjoys performing skin treatments and a wide range of beauty services, combining care, professionalism and attention to detail.

Snezana

Snezana is a highly trained cosmetic nurse practitioner with extensive experience in skin health, facial rejuvenation and anti-ageing medicine.

Her medical background spans more than 24 years as a registered nurse across public and private hospital sectors, along with experience as a qualified nurse immuniser and nursing educator.

Snezana’s approach is professional, caring and results-focused. She is passionate about enhancing natural beauty through thorough consultations, personalised treatment planning and natural-looking results.

Snezana is available for cosmetic treatments at our Emerald salon.

Kirra

Kirra is a specialist cosmetic tattooist who works with Jess at HUSH Clinical in South Yarra and also visits the Emerald salon approximately every 4–6 weeks.

She specialises in eyebrow, lip and eyeliner tattooing and has more than 8 years of experience. Her work is precise, natural and highly regarded.
